About this Uluru walking guide

UluruHikeGuide.com is an independent guide to walking at Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park: the base walk and the shorter tracks, Kata Tjuta's Valley of the Winds and Walpa Gorge, the park rules, the heat, the best months and how many days to stay, along with the guided walks and tours sold on GetYourGuide. We are not Parks Australia, the Board of Management, a tour operator, the resort or GetYourGuide. We compare what is on offer so you can decide whether you want a tour at all, and if so which one.

Facts on this site are checked against official sources (the national park's own website, uluru.gov.au, the park's management plan, the Bureau of Meteorology and Northern Territory tourism) and against the live GetYourGuide listings, including recent guest reviews. Track conditions, heat closures and flight schedules change; when an official source and this site disagree, trust the official source.

We write about Anangu culture only as far as the park itself publishes it, and we follow Anangu's requests on photography and sensitive sites.
